(WONJU--Korea Newswire) November 8, 2012 -- Jejoong Medical Co., Ltd., (CEO: Kim In-Soo, www.jejoong-medical.com) a company specialized in medical equipment, will participate in ¡°the MEDICA Dusseldorf Medical Equipment Exhibition (MEDICA 2012)¡± to be held in Germany.

This exhibition, which will be held for four days from November 14 to 17, will feature approximately 4,300 companies from 80 countries with more than 130,000 people in attendance. It is one of the world¡¯s largest medical equipment exhibitions.

Jejoong Medical Co., Ltd. is slated to showcase the electric surgical device ¡°ZATHA Series¡±, the high frequency surgical device ¡°COVE¡±, the X-ray film reader ¡°DILOS¡±, etc. at this exhibition.

Of these, the electric surgical device ¡°ZATHA Series (model name: ZATHA, ZATHA-S)¡± is the product that is suitable for general surgical operation, celioscope and endoscope; thereby, being utilized in a wide range of fields such as general surgery, orthopedics, neurosurgery, otorhinolaryngology, dermatology, plastic surgery, veterinary clinics, etc. It has been receiving good reviews from the overseas markets for its superior performance as compared to the price.

Unlike the conventional surgical devices that simply output in a repetitive pattern, it strengthens the output through applying the ACW (Arc-Controlled Waveform) technology that was developed for the first time in the world. And it minimizes secondary bleeding due to carbonization of skin tissue and tissue fusion phenomenon through reducing significantly the generation of an electrical arc.

In addition, it monitors the contact between patients and return pad for more than 1,000 times per second with the patient protection system (PPS) that is applied by the micro-pulse technology. When having a bad contact, it automatically controls the output to protect patients from getting burned.

Currently as for ¡°ZATHA Series¡±, the company has signed the supply contract with Egypt, Iran, Indonesia, Mexico, etc. and is progressing to acquire permission in China and the countries in Latin America. It plans to introduce the upgraded version of high performance that can be utilized in a general hospital in the first half of next year.
